Description
The Zero Pore Toner is a multi-functional toner designed to both exfoliate gently and hydrate deeply, while targeting visible pores, excess oil/sebum, and rough/uneven skin texture. According to MEDICUBE, this toner features a blend of hyaluronic acid, panthenol/allantoin and a triple-acid exfoliant combination (AHA + BHA + PHA) to refine pores and deliver a revitalised “glass-skin” effect.
Additionally, it includes the brand’s patented “Pore Laser™ Complex” (with jasmine, willow bark, eggplant extracts) to help minimise enlarged pores without heavy stripping.
The formula is free from alcohol and artificial colour, making it marketed as suitable for all skin types, including oily/acne-prone skin.
Skin Type
Normal → combination → oily skin types, especially those dealing with visible pores, excess sebum, clogged/rough texture.
Acne-prone skin that has post-breakout texture, enlarged pores, blackheads/whiteheads — the exfoliating and pore-refining aspects apply.
Skin that uses heavier sunscreen or makeup and needs gentle but effective toning step to prepare for treatments/serums.
Mixed skin types where T-zone might be oily/pores visible and cheeks might be drier — this toner can address oily/texture zones while a richer cream handles dry zones.
Key Benefits
Refines pores & smooths texture — The combination of AHA + BHA + PHA (gentle exfoliants) helps clear dead skin cells inside and around pores, reduce oil/sebum buildup and reveal smoother skin.
Deep hydration + barrier support — With hyaluronic acid, panthenol and allantoin, the toner helps prevent the stripped/irritated feeling often associated with exfoliation and supports a healthy barrier.
Balances oil/sebum and reduces excess shine — The Pore Laser™ Complex (jasmine, willow bark, eggplant extracts) targets enlarged pores and sebum control rather than just dryness.
Brightening & even tone — With niacinamide (noted in ingredient breakdown) the formula also supports a more even complexion, reducing the look of dullness and texture irregularities.
All-in-one toning step — Rather than a simple hydrating toner, this acts as a ‘treatment-toner’ that refines, hydrates and preps skin for subsequent steps (serum/moisturiser) — helping streamline a routine for someone addressing multiple concerns.
Key Ingredients
AHA + BHA + PHA blend — These chemical exfoliants work at different levels: AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) for surface dead skin, BHA (beta hydroxy acid, oil-soluble) for inside pores/sebum, PHA (polyhydroxy acid) for gentler exfoliation/hydration.
Niacinamide — A multitasking vitamin B3 derivative known to support barrier lipids, minimise the appearance of pores, regulate oil and refine texture.
Hyaluronic Acid — Moisture-drawing humectant that helps keep skin hydrated and plump, offsetting the potential drying effect of exfoliants.
Panthenol & Allantoin — Soothing/hydrating ingredients that support skin comfort, healing and barrier repair.
Pore Laser™ Complex (Jasmine, Willow Bark, Eggplant Extracts) — Botanical complex aimed at controlling sebum, reducing pore visibility and refining skin surface.

Pregnancy and Nursing Safe
Likely Safe
The toner contains exfoliant acids (AHA, BHA, PHA) which are generally mild in toning products but still require caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to increased skin sensitivity and absorption potential. It's prudent to consult with a healthcare provider before incorporating such products into your skincare routine during pregnancy.
How to use
After cleansing your face, apply this toner as the next step. Use a cotton pad or clean hands.
Dispense an appropriate amount (e.g., 1–2 pumps or as directed) and gently sweep over the face, especially focusing on the T-zone, cheeks and areas with visible pores/texture concerns.
Allow to absorb for ~1 minute to let the exfoliating/hydrating ingredients penetrate.
Follow with your serum and moisturiser — because your barrier is weak, ensure you apply your hydrating/repair serum next, then a richer cream to lock moisture and support barrier.
Sun protection alert: Because you’re using exfoliant acids (AHAs, BHAs, PHAs), using broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day is especially important.
Frequency recommendation for your skin condition:
On nights your skin is flaky/dry or after active treatments: you may reduce usage to 1-2 times a week, or skip and use a purely soothing toner instead.
On nights your skin is calmer and you want to address pores/oil/texture: you can use this toner and follow with a barrier-repair routine.
Avoid using this toner on the same night as strong retinoids, high-dose acids or other potent exfoliants to minimise cumulative barrier stress.
Tip: If you feel a slight tingling (which may happen with exfoliants) and it persists longer than 1–2 minutes, rinse off and apply a calming mask or rich cream. Over time you can build tolerance.
