Description
The Exosome Cica Toner is a soothing, hydrating toner formulated to calm irritated or barrier-compromised skin while delivering moisture and support for skin texture resilience. According to the brand, it features a nano-sized “Exosome Cica” complex (derived from Centella asiatica), combined with panthenol, ectoin, licorice extract and tea-tree-leaf water to soothe redness and strengthen the skin barrier.
It’s designed for daily use, marketed as low-irritation, suitable even for sensitive and acne-prone skin types.
Size: 250ML
Skin Type
Normal to dry skin especially when the barrier is weakened, skin feels tight/flaky, or you experience surface irritation.
Combination skin with dry/flaky zones or mixed texture — this toner helps calm and hydrate weaker zones.
Sensitive or reactive skin — Because it emphasises soothing/buffered formulation rather than strong actives, it’s beneficial when your barrier is compromised (flaky dry + occasional cystic acne) and you need comfort.
Skin recovering from breakout, irritation, or exfoliation — the calming effect supports recovery.
Key Benefits
Deep-soothing & barrier support: The Exosome Cica complex (nano-sized centella-derived vesicles) is claimed to offer enhanced soothing and texture-improvement effects compared with standard cica extracts.
Hydration & comfort: Features humectants and soothing ingredients like panthenol, ectoin and licorice extract to help relieve dryness/flakiness and calm irritation.
Lightweight, everyday use: The toner has a water-like texture that absorbs quickly without leaving heavy residue, making it suitable for daily use, even under makeup or sunscreen.
Low-irritant formula designed for sensitive/acne-prone skin: Free from heavy fragrance/artificial colour (in many market descriptions), supporting skin recovery.
Texture improving & calming for stressed skin: Reviewers have noted that the toner helps soothe flare-ups, redness, and supports calmer skin after stress or breakout.
Key Ingredients
Exosome Cica (Centella Asiatica Leaf Vesicles + 12 kinds of cica-derived ingredients) — the brand claims the nano-sized exosome form is roughly 1/510 the size of pores, helping deeper penetration and improved soothing/texture performance.
Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) — humectant and barrier-supportive, helps to strengthen lipids and soothe.
Ectoin — an extremolyte molecule known to help protect cells from stress (UV, pollution) and support barrier resilience.
Tea Tree Leaf Water / Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Water — provides calming, antimicrobial support (in low concentration) for irritated and oily zones.
Licorice Extract (Glycyrrhiza Uralensis) / Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate — anti-inflammatory, soothing, supports calmer skin.

How to use
After cleansing, pour an appropriate amount of the toner into your hands or onto a cotton pad.
Apply to face and neck: Sweep gently over the skin (including the dry/flaky zones) or pat into skin to promote absorption. Given your barrier state, patting may help reduce friction.
Allow to absorb for ~30–60 seconds. Because your barrier is weak, avoid rushing into strong treatment steps; give the toner a bit of time to settle.
Follow with your serum/essence and then moisturiser (especially the barrier-repair cream you already use). The toner acts to calm and ready your skin for the next steps.
Frequency: Use daily (morning and/or evening) depending on how your skin feels. On nights your skin is especially irritated/flaky, you might skip stronger treatment steps and just this toner + richer cream.
Tip for your skin condition: Because you have flaky dry patches + occasional cystic acne:
On “recovery nights” when your skin is stressed: use this toner, skip or reduce strong actives, then apply your richest cream.
On days you feel stable and want to proceed with your actives: you can still use this toner as your calming first step, then use your treatment steps.
Always ensure your moisturiser/repair cream is applied immediately after, to support barrier restoration.
