How to use
After cleansing, dispense an appropriate amount (e.g., 2–3 pumps) of the Milky Toner into your palms or onto a cotton pad.
Apply to face and neck: Using your hands, gently pat or press the toner into your skin, focusing on zones prone to dryness/flakiness (especially given your barrier status). You may also swipe with a cotton pad if preferred.
Allow it to absorb for ~30–60 seconds. Because your barrier is compromised, give the toner a moment to settle before layering other treatments.
Follow with your serum/essence then your moisturiser/repair cream. Because your skin barrier is weak, ensuring you seal in hydration is key.
Frequency: Use morning and/or night, depending on your routine. On nights when your skin is more irritated or you’ve used stronger active treatments, you might use this toner and skip additional exfoliants/treatments that night.
Tip for your skin condition:
Because you have flaky dry patches and occasional cystic acne: On nights when your skin is very fatigued or barrier feels fragile, use this toner + a calming mask or heavy repair cream only.
On better nights you can continue your actives (within your pregnancy-safe regime) after using this toner as your hydrating/brightening step.
Because you emphasise repairing the barrier and preventing dryness, you might use this toner as your transitional step from cleansing → actives/serums → moisturiser
