Description
The Zero Pore Pad 2.0 from MEDICUBE is a dual-textured toner pad treatment formulated to target enlarged pores, excess sebum and rough texture via gentle exfoliation and pore-refining actives. Each jar contains 70 pads. The embossed side helps loosen dead skin cells and remove excess sebum, while the smooth side calms and refines the skin finish. The formula features AHA (lactic acid), BHA (salicylic acid), and a range of botanical extracts to provide exfoliation + pore care
Skin Type
Normal to combination and oily skin types — especially if visible pores, sebum-shine, or clogged texture are concerns.
Skin with enlarged/visible pores, texture irregularities, blackheads/whiteheads or buildup in the T-zone.
Skin that uses sunscreen/makeup or experiences heaviness/film in the day — the pads help clarify before treatment.
Skin that tolerates mild exfoliation and you’re comfortable including a toner-pad exfoliating step.
Key Benefits
Refines visible pores & smooths texture — The AHA/BHA blend helps lift dead skin and clear inside pores for a smoother finish.
Controls excess sebum & clarifies buildup — The fold-out design and pad texture work to physically assist in removing pore-waste and sebum, supporting a cleaner skin surface.
Dual-sided pad for exfoliation + calming — The embossed side gives mechanical/exfoliation benefit; the smooth side calms and readies skin for subsequent steps.
Preps skin for subsequent skincare — After using the pad, your skin is cleared of dead cells/sebum and better ready for serums/moisturisers (important when you are layering actives).
Convenient, hygienic format — 70 individually soaked pads make consistent usage simple and controlled.
Key Ingredients
Lactic Acid (AHA) — a gentle AHA that exfoliates the skin surface to help smooth and refresh.
Salicylic Acid (BHA) / Willow Bark Extract (natural BHA source) — penetrates into oil/sebum-laden pores to help clear and refine them.
Panthenol / Allantoin / Sodium Hyaluronate — soothing, hydrating ingredients included to support comfort and hydration despite the exfoliating action.
Botanical extract blend — white willow bark, centella asiatica, tree-leaf extracts, fruit oils/extracts for cleansing, calming and astringent support.

Pregnancy and Nursing Safe
Likely Safe
The toner pads include exfoliating acids (AHA & BHA) and essential oils. Exfoliants are generally acceptable in pregnancy/breastfeeding in moderate usage, but caution is important.
The presence of fragrance/essential oil components (e.g., citrus peel oils, rosemary leaf oil) may increase sensitivity during pregnancy when skin barrier is more vulnerable.
Therefore, consulting a healthcare professional before adding these products to your skincare routine during pregnancy is highly recommended, to ensure safety for both mother and baby.
How to use
After cleansing, open the jar and use one pad.
Use the embossed side first: Gently swipe across your face from the centre outward (especially T-zone, cheeks where pores visible) to exfoliate and remove sebum/dead skin cells.
Flip to the smooth side: Glide over the face again to calm, smooth and prep skin for the next steps.
Pat in any remaining essence lightly — do not rinse.
Follow with your serum/moisturiser: Because your barrier is compromised, immediately apply your hydrating/repair cream.
Frequency: Start with 1–2 times per week. If tolerated well, you may increase—but for your skin condition you may keep it at moderate use.
Sun protection: Because exfoliating acids increase sun sensitivity, ensure you apply broad-spectrum sunscreen in the morning following use.
Tips for your skin condition: Since you have flaky dry areas and occasional cystic acne: On nights your skin is very fragile, skip the pad and focus on pure barrier repair; on calmer nights you may use the pad, but avoid applying strong actives afterward.
