The serum includes HPR (Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate) — a retinoid derivative. While HPR is milder than classic retinoic acid, retinoids and retinoid-derivatives are generally approached with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to potential systemic absorption and uncertain long-term data.
How to use
As part of your morning skincare routine, after moisturiser / barrier cream (or as directed), apply a generous, even layer of the sun serum across face and neck — enough to cover all exposed skin.
Spread evenly and allow to absorb; due to its lightweight serum texture, it layers well under makeup or on its own.
Re-apply as needed during the day if prolonged sun exposure (every 2–3 hours, or after sweating / towel-drying / swimming), as with any sunscreen. — This is especially important because UV exposure increases photo-aging and undermines the anti-aging benefits.
Use daily, ideally as the final step of your morning routine (or any time you expect sun exposure). Because it combines sunscreen + treatment, it's a convenient 2-in-1 step.
