The cream includes a retinoid derivative (HPR). Although HPR is a “gentler” retinoid compared to classic retinol/retinoic acid, retinoids are generally cautioned during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to potential systemic absorption — many dermatologists recommend avoiding strong retinoids at this time.
How to use
Use after cleansing, toning (and any serums or essences) — as the moisturiser / final skincare cream step.
Take a pea-to-almond sized amount and gently massage over face (and neck if desired) in upward motions until fully absorbed. Because the cream is nourishing, light pressure or gentle patting is sufficient.
Use once or twice daily (morning and/or night) depending on your skin’s needs and sensitivity. On morning application — follow with sunscreen as usual.
For maximum benefit: use consistently — the collagen + camellia + retinoid formula works over time to improve firmness, elasticity and texture.
For sensitive or barrier-impaired skin: start with once nightly, observe how skin tolerates; if no irritation, increase to daily or twice daily as tolerated.
